Rolls-Royce decided to engage directly with their fans new and old in a series of free interactive exhibitions called Inside Rolls-Royce, currently at the Saatchi Gallery it will go on tour around major cities worldwide throughout 2015.
The exhibition celebrates the materials, the technology and craftsmanship that go into making a Rolls-Royce, giving the visitors the possibility to actively discover the hidden gems of the car. Each of the nine rooms at Saatchi Gallery focused on one key aspect, e.g. colour, technology, wood or leather. A 'flying' sculpture highlights the iconic in-door umbrella, that is placed in the door of a Rolls-Royce Ghost while visitors can also engage with a multi-sensory screen that allows them to create their own unique wood patterns and comprehend the process of ‘book-matching’. There is even an opportunity to 'Be the Spirit' and transform yourself into the iconic statuette that adorns every Rolls-Royce motor car and much more. The opening event was closed by a live performance of the US singer Gregory Porter.
