A beautiful identity for Slåke by Norwegian multidisciplinary design studio Ghost Design.
Slåke means furniture carpentry care for the material and focus on quality. Slåke celebrates 75th anniversary with a vision to work on his new classics in Nordic design. The team consists of young, innovative designers that safeguard the heritage and unites past and future. In this occasion they also wanted to refresh its visual identity. Inspired by Scandinavian design traditions they created a minimalist expression to reinforce focus on the products. The colors are inspired from nature in Hjelmeland; sun, sky, mountains, farmland, grass, sand and sea.
Ghost Design is run by passionate craftsmen who have a goal of creating vibrant, rich and functional solutions and they work for clients who appreciate creative, practical ideas and who like to work directly with the designers.
