GoPro Omni

Prior to its official release on 17 August, GoPro has been giving a select few athletes and filmmakers the chance to take its new $5,000 Omni camera for a spin. The device, which is capable of filming immersive 360-degree videos, is actually made up of six cameras, each pointing in a different direction. The resulting footage can be explored through an interactive YouTube or Facebook video or through a VR headset.
