The surfacing of a new field of tech calls for a new approach to identity creation. Dot Dot is a new open source language to set standards and connect devices for the Internet of Things across product type and brand.

Zigbee teamed up with Wolff Olins SF to create a democratic identity that translated across platforms, free from the limitations of traditional branding, and accessible to everyone. The mark can be recreated in SMS or text form using a single colon with two vertical bars and lives on GitHub for easy logo rendering. Simple, fresh thinking.
