The Art of Ping Pong 2017
The annual event that brings together the world of art and design with Ping Pong for charitable good.
It's not often we do a follow up post but the brilliant Art of Ping Pong deserves another mention. Returning in 2017 as an auction of some of the design industry's best illustrators, artists and designers, the event aims to make a splash for Trekstock who help young adults who’ve battled cancer rebuild their lives after treatment. In the past the auctions have raised an impressive total of £15,500 for various causes such as BBC Children in Need and the Roger Federer Foundation.
The man behind this event is Algy Batten, co-founder and creative director of Fivefootsix, and enlisted 27 artists including Mr Bingo, Nigel Howlett, Yoni Alter, Hattie Newman, Gemma Shiel and George Hardie to name just a few. The works this year will be auctioned online in the hope to raise more than ever. See some of the great designs from 2017 below:
