A Safer World
A series of stunning geometric photographs by Matthieu Venot that capture obscure angles and beautiful architectural details in abstract graphic forms.
The series titled 'Safer' is Matthieu's vision to depict a safe and abstract world through use of pleasing shapes, patterns, lines and soft colour ways.
The project is a masterclass of graphic observation, removing details from their larger whole and transforming their purpose and existence. "It is the essence to return only to emotion in the face of abstraction," said Venot. "The name 'safer' is used because the photos and the colour do us good and allow us to escape to a better world."
